2. Product Status & Reservation Deposits
Hippos products are currently in active development.
Early access may be offered through a $99 fully refundable Founding Athlete Reservation deposit, which:
- Secures your place in line for initial production runs
- Is fully refundable upon request prior to shipment confirmation
- Does not guarantee a specific delivery date
Reservation deposits are not a purchase of a finished product and do not represent equity, ownership, or investment in the company.
Hippos reserves the right to modify product specifications, pricing, and timelines as development progresses.
3. General Wellness Disclaimer
Hippos products are intended for general wellness and performance monitoring purposes only.
Hippos devices and related software:
- Are not medical devices
- Are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or injury
- Do not replace professional medical advice
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any physical activity program.

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

7. Data & Performance Analytics
By using Hippos devices, you acknowledge that motion and performance data may be collected.
All data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Hippos retains ownership of anonymized and aggregated data for:
- Product improvement
- Performance research
- System development
- Statistical analysis
Personal identifiable information will not be sold.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Hippos shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data
- Loss of performance
- Physical injury resulting from misuse
Use of Hippos products is at your own risk.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Hippos in the prior 12 months.
